Destin Private Sailing Charter (6 or less)
Enjoy the emerald blue water and sugar white sand beaches of Okaloosa Island aboard Minnie, a fully equipped 1996 Hunter 29.5 sloop. Your guide is a qualified USCG licensed captain at the helm with over 40 years of sailing experience.
You can customize your sailing adventure based on your experience level, local interest, and level of hands on sailing you wish to participate. Minnie has a large cockpit that can comfortably accommodate 6 adults plus the captain. You are welcomed to bring your own refreshments and food for lunch on board, or plan a picnic on a secluded island or remote beach. Also, there are several waterside restaurants to enjoy a relaxing meal. We can customize the departure time for your convenience subject to prior reservations. Whether you choose a short sunset sail or a full day on the water, I assure it will be a memorable experience. Booking Details:● Person signing the contract must be at least 18 years of age with a valid picture ID.● Charterer must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to departure in order to receive safety briefing and complete the charter agreement. ● Charter departs from the Shalimar Yacht Basin Marina. The captain will meet you at the fuel dock on arrival. ● If the charterer cancels the contract less than 48 hrs from the schedule departure or is a “no show” the full charter amount shall be retained by the charter. Reschedules permitted if the captain determines weather conditions and/or forecast are not suitable for a safe charter. ● Glass beverage bottles or containers not permitted. ● Deck or tennis shoes are recommended. No hard soled shoes permitted. ● Recommend beach towels, favorite CD's, sun screen, swim suit, and a cover up should we encounter a rain shower. ● Minnie is a non-smoking vessel.
