From the beaches of Normandy to the sands of Iwo Jima, The National World War II Museum's exhibits are a blend of personal accounts, artifacts, documents, photographs and original film footage. The stories of the dozens of amphibious landings and the thousands of men and women who made Allied victory in World War II possible are told through three floors of exhibit space. In addition, special exhibits draw on the Museum’s own collections, as well as relevant traveling exhibits to further illustrate and explore the war that changed the world. We recommend allowing at least two to three hours to visit the Museum.

Beyond All Boundries 4D Experience
Beyond All Boundaries, created exclusively for The National World War II Museum, is a unique and powerful 4-D cinematic experience available nowhere else in the world. Created and crafted with 21st-century technology and utilizing a 120-feet wide immersive screen, the production plunges viewers into the 20th-century’s most titanic struggle. It tells the tale of the Greatest Generation’s journey from Pearl Harbor into the fire of epic battles to America’s final victory in the War That Changed the World in the words of the veterans themselves. The Museum is honored to have Tom Hanks as Executive Producer and the voices of some of Hollywood’s top stars bringing to life the words of actual World War II participants and war correspondents

Booking Details:

Once you purchase the tickets online, print your voucher and bring it to the Gray Line "Lighthouse" ticket office at Toulouse St. and the Mississippi River (at the Steamboat Natchez Dock), just one block from Jackson Square in the French Quarter. Once the voucher is redeemed for the ticket, the customer may proceed to the WW2 Museum for entry.

Departure Details
The museum is open daily from 9am-7pm. The Museum is closed Mardi Gras Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The Solomon Victory Theater shows Beyond All Boundaries daily from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Sunday – Thursday, with an additional 5:00 showing on Friday and Saturday. The 4-D film runs approximately 45 minutes and is preceded by a seven minute pre show. Showtimes are based on availability.

Parking
Public parking for the Grayline ticket office at Toulouse St. (cross the railroad tracks and on the right). Once the voucher is redeemed, the customer may proceed to the museum. The Museum has one paid parking lot on Magazine Street, across from the theater, with entrances from Andrew Higgins and Magazine. There is no charge to park after 3:00 pm. Additionally, there are several other paid parking lots in the neighborhood not owned by the Museum.

Additional Information
● The Museum is fully accessible to all visitors. A limited number of wheelchairs are provided for use in the Museum at no charge.

Cancellation Policy
Once the customer buys the voucher online, they have one year to redeem it for tickets to the museum. No refunds once the voucher is purchased online.
