Best Night we had in Nola!
My boyfriend and I decided we wanted to do something besides hit Bourbon Street while we were in Nola. We decided to book a dinner cruise on the Creole Queen because neither one of us had been on a paddleboat before. We are so glad we did! Booking was super easy. The hardest thing about the entire trip was parking. You should def park at the Hilton and just pay the $20 for parking in the parking garage. It was so much easier to do that then to do valet or try to park in the lots on the other side of the Aquarium. And it was closer. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR VOUCHER PRINTED when you go to check in at the booth. You should really get there an hour early. Watching the sun dip down was really beautiful, even waiting in line. Because we got there early, we boarded early and got to eat early. That was really nice because as the boat filled up, so did the buffet line. The jazz band that's on board is wonderful and such a hoot. You can tip them trumpet player and take pics with him. He's a sweet man, Our server, Victoria, took excellent care of us. My glass was never empty and she even helped us look for my boyfriend's sunglasses when he lost them. Victoria was great as was every other employee we encountered. Everyone was pleasant and had a smile! You couldn't help but enjoy yourself and smile back! The food is buffet style and wasn't bad at all. Lots of traditional Nola style dishes. My fave was the beef brisket! The view from the deck on top is breathtaking. The colors that changed all around us just made Nola have a whole new look to me. My only complaint is that the cruise wasn't longer! We will def be back!Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

New Orleans Trip
Outstanding. My wife and I loved everything about this package but the amount of time spent on The Mississippi River. Two hours wasn't long enough. Another hour would have made this trip perfect. Will book again.Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

Large dining area and great views. We were a little cramped at Natchez dinner cruise we went on last year so we went with the Creole Queen this year. Both trips had excellent buffets and the jazz was top notch!Verified TripShock! Traveler Review

I had the choices of going on the Natchez and the Creole Queen, but we decided to go on the Creole Queen and it was a great choice! It was very hot outside the day we went so we liked the A/C cabin and the open seating. The buffet was not crowded and the food was great! We will definitely take the Creole Queen next time we are in NOLA!Verified TripShock! Traveler Review
