Visit the "American" section of town that was built to rival the architectural splendor of the Creoles' French Quarter! Enjoy a walk through New Orleans' elegant Garden District, once part of the plantation owned by Bienville, the founder of New Orleans. This historic district is known for its marvelous examples of Greek Revival and Italianate architecture.

SIGHTS INCLUDE: Homes of the former Kings and Queens of Mardi Gras, the home of the Manning family (the premier family of football, where Archi lives, and Peyton and Eli grew up), the former residence of Anne Rice, the house where Jefferson Davis died (in 1889), Toby's Corner (the oldest house in the area; built in 1838), and the Lafayette Cemetery (Cemetery closed on Sundays and some holidays).

Booking Details:

All vouchers can be redeemed at the Lighthouse Ticket Office located on Toulouse St. @ the Mississippi River in the French Quarter. Once the voucher is redeemed, the tour will depart from that location. Please confirm this tour at least 48 hours prior to arrival.

Duration: 2.5 Hours

● Climate controlled transportation to and from Garden District.

Additional Information
● This is a walking tour on uneven sidewalks and streets, so please wear comfortable shoes! During warmer months, we recommend that you wear lightly colored clothing; caps/hats and umbrellas are also suggested.
● Children under 6 (not occupying a seat on tours) are free of charge but charged for food on cruises.
● Schedule and availability are subject to change. Call the number provided on your booking voucher to confirm schedule at least 48 hours prior to departure.
● Transfers must be used in conjunction with optional tours.
● Above rates are per person and include all taxes. Rates do not include gratuity to drivers and/or guides.

Cancellation Policy
Customers must cancel within 24 hours to receive a full refund. No-shows and cancellations after the 24 hour cut off will forfeit 50% of the purchase price.
