Restrictions
  • Walton County/30A events for Parties 31+ require special permitting & extra fees.
  • Must be 21 or older with valid ID to purchase or consume alcohol.
  • South Walton Fire Department beach bonfire permits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If the vendor has purchased your permit and you wish to change the date, for any reason, an additional $55 will be charged to do so.
  • The South Walton Fire Department is closed on weekends. If the date you want to book falls on a Saturday/Sunday, be sure you book your fire by Friday at 2 PM.

  • Walton County/30A locations are approved for public beach accesses & private beach front property with the consent of property owner.
  • The vendor will contact the customer to confirm the bonfire location after booking.
  • Handicap accessible.
  • Service dogs allowed.
  • Local dogs are allowed on beaches with a South Walton Dog Beach Permit after 4:00PM. Dogs without beach permits are not allowed on the beach at any time.
  • Please write in an approved location at booking.
  • Large parties are accepted but require a special event permit from the county. After booking, the customer will contact the vendor to pay for the special event permit. 30-50 people is $250, 51-75 people is $500, and 76+ people is $1000.
Cancellation policy

Customers may cancel at least 48 hours prior to their arrival date and time to receive a full refund minus a $75 cancellation fee and a $5 service fee. Customers that cancel or book after the 48 hour period will not be eligible for a refund. No-shows will not be refunded. Customer may make changes to the reservation without any fees as long as it's outside the 48 hour cancellation period and the permit has not been purchased. If the permit has been purchased, the customer will need to pay for a new permit to be issued for the new date and with no refund of the original permit. If weather causes the bonfire company to call off the bonfire, the customer may reschedule based on availability and a new permit will be issued at the customer's expense. If the bonfire is set up and it rains, there will be no refunds. Should the reservation not be able to be rescheduled, the customer may cancel and receive a refund minus the permit fee of $75.
