Parking: Public parking is available in front of and behind the Brotula's restaurant.
Departure Details: Once you purchase the tickets online, print off the ticket or show the confirmation details from your mobile device for entry. Please have a valid ID with you to confirm your order if needed. Trips depart from 210 E Highway 98, Destin FL, behind the Brotula's restaurant. &quot;The Great Escape&quot; vessel is the third boat on the left on the East Dock. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before departure time for check-in.

Want to thank Captain Jason and Deckhand Blane for an excellent fishing trip.  We caught our limit of Red Snapper (2 per fisherman).  Was a little shocked to find out that Red Snapper was our primary and only true target. this was mentioned up front.  But if that is what the captain believes he can deliver on, we went for it and succeeded.   Nice boat with a very comfortable interior.   Would charter again.  Thanks!

Caught our Limit

The guys were awesome. Even though we experienced some sea sickness, our family of 6 all caught a ton of fish. We had a blast. The guys were super friendly,patient and were awesome with the kids.

Our Fishing Adventure

Excellent time!  They were great with kids ages 9, 14, 16. Friendly and fun crew. We caught red snappers, Bonita's, and even a king mackerel. Highly recommend these guys!

Deep sea fishing

The crew was friendly and helpful and prompt.  It's family owned and that gives it a lot of charm. We were disappointed that we had to catch and release red snapper as they are a state boat not a federal boat. They gave us the option to cancel our reservation when we arrived but you can't disappoint 3 young boys for young boys like that.  The crew did a very nice job of keeping our rod are rods and wheels in good order order. They also change gears when we snagged a shark to allow us to fish for the shark, that was very cool. Overall it was a very nice morning. We then took our catch to a local restaurant who cooked it up to perfection in multiple different dishes.

You also received this information in a voucher after you booked yourself online. We're also sorry that when you emailed TripShock about the types of fish you wanted to catch- that you did not read the information we sent you regarding the dates of red snapper season and what fish could be caught and kept. Totally awesome time!!
Would recommend Captain Jason & first mate Blane ~both went beyond what we expected. Caught Trigger, Bonitia, Squirrel fish, Black Snapper.
Even hooked a shark that was 250 lbs or more it made our trip a memorable beyond belief!!!

Great Escape Charter Boat

Captain Jason had us on fish all morning!  Blaine worked very hard to make sure everyone was catching fish, keeping bait on the hooks and taking the fish off. After we returned to the dock Blaine cleaned and bagged our fish for us.  We all had a great time and will definitely come back and fish with The Great Escape.  Thank you Captain Jason and Blaine for making our trip so enjoyable.
