Did see a dolphin at Shell Island and kids had fun looking for fish.   Captain Kerry was laid back and agreeable to our preference of snorkeling as much as we wanted vs going back out and looking for more dolphins.  Fair price for a 3hr excursion. If looking for a private boat would recommend Captain Kerry.

Private boat to Shell Island

We picked this tour because we didn’t want to be on a boat with a lot of other people. Our 12:30pm adventure with Capt.. Kerry was PERFECT! Pick up instructions were clear, parking was easy  (even on a Saturday!) and he was prompt. Kerry and my husband chatted about local history and sites while my teens and I enjoyed the ride. He took us right to a pod of dolphins (literally 3 feet from the boat!!) and then over to shell island. He provided the snorkeling equipment and nets and gave us the lowdown. The kids had a blast snorkeling the rocks and grabbed treats from the floating ice cream vendor. Kerry was good company for anyone taking a break and was so courteous. He seemed to have anything we’d forgotten. Boat was super clean. Great time had by all!!!

Snorkeling Tour with Captain Seaydog

We had the best time with Capt Kerry ‘Seaydog’!  Not only did he take us snorkeling, he gave us local history and tidbits about our surroundings.  He also took us to see dolphins!  Seaydog was so nice and relaxed.  I can’t imagine ever going with anyone else!   If you want a fun, informative trip he’s your guy.  He will take you to see what you want!

Beautiful trip to Shell Island

It was the perfect afternoon! Capt. Kerry knew exactly where to go for the best experience possible! He was very familiar with the area, nature and history . It was a private getaway for me and my boyfriend and he made it amazing! We will be back for sure and hope to do it again. I would recommend if you don't like crowds and enjoy that personal touch.

Captain Kerry had already pulled up to our meeting point when we arrived and his boat is very clean and tidy. He knew multiple spots to take us to find sealife and was very knowledgeable about the area!

We had such a great time with Captain Glen. It was our kids' first time on a boat, and he did a wonderful job explaining the boat and things out on the water. He found a pod of dolphins and expertly kept the boat rotated to minimize wave wobble. We had a relaxing walk along Shell Island. We had the whole beach to ourselves. We will absolutely return for a trip with Captain Glen again!

Amazing experience!

This was my first time booking a trip through tripshock so we weren’t sure what to expect. We had a great time on a private dolphin tour where we were lucky enough to see pods of dolphins, a couple of sea turtles and Shell Island, which was fantastic!! Our tour guide, Glen, was just what our group needed and was able to read the room quite well! He was engaging and informative while also allowing us to “explore” on our own pace.

Great trip!

My family had a great time! Trevor was fantastic! He was polite and courteous. He asked us what our priorities were for the excursion and we were able to see dolphins, sea turtles, snorkel and walk around Shell Island.  Our 9 and 11 year olds (as well as my husband and I) will never forget the boat trip and Trevor. Highly recommend!

Seaydog adventures

Captain Kerry was very nice as well as knowledgeable about a lot of the areas landmarks and just the Panama City area in general. His boat was very nice and clean and super smooth going over some choppy waves. Unfortunately we only saw a couple dolphins on our outing but the water was cold and they just didn’t wanna show themselves that day. But even so I’ll definitely book another private cruise again with Seydog.

We went on a dolphin tour with Seaydog and had a wonderful time! So glad we did it. Captain Kerry was very friendly, knowledgeable and resourceful. We found and followed a group of a dozen dolphins the whole time, it was very relaxing and we are planning on taking again the same tour with captain Kerry in a few days when my daughter comes to visit us! Marcus was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the area. He also went above and beyond what we expected on the trip. In addition to seeing dolphins he took us around a bunch of local spots that we never would have know about or see otherwise. We were extremely with the trip and when we come back we will definitely be booking with him again!

If you are worried about seeing dolphins, it took about 45 minutes to find them but we did see dolphins and they came right up to the boat. After the first encounter we also found another pod shortly after.

The shelling excursion was everything we expected, and more! We were able to see dolphins on the way to the island. The water on the way to the island was crystal clear. We were able to see fish swimming at the dock. The guide was very knowledgeable and personable. He was able to tell us about everything from the kind of shells we found to the best restaraunts to eat at after the excursion.
