    Natchez

The food wasnt good. I dont eat beef and that was all that was served other than gumbo with minimal to no Seafood in it. When I asked the guy if there was chicken all he could say was your cutting the line he was actually cutting the beef and very rude. I felt like it was a waste of money since I could not really eat.

    Dining took to long

Departure was at 7pm, dinner 7:45 done at 9 at the same time ship arrived at port. No windows in the diningroom so kinda missed the whole thing.

Thanks for booking with us and letting us know about your experience. The Steamboat Natchez offers two different dining times so if you visit New Orleans again, I'd recommend choosing the earlier dining time which is one hour before the boat's departure. That way you can enjoy some time on the observation deck after dinner. I hope that you still enjoyed your experience overall and that we see you next time! TripShock Guest Service Manager

    It was crowded

The food was ok... the captain was cool and service wasn't bad... it was super crowded at all the bars.

    Meh

Positives: unique, pretty view, party atmosphere, good food, fun time with friends and colleagues, really great server who sang us a gospel song at our request. Negatives: cumbersome, cumbersome ticketing process, long wait in hot sun on board, credit cards not accepted on board, average, sporadic music. I was REALLY disappointed in the music. It just wasn’t very good, but we didn’t even hear any most of the time. Result: a very expensive buffet dinner of unremarkable quality.

    Natchez jazz dinner cruise

Trip was nice. Wish it was longer. Those 2 hours went by quickly. Food was great. But our waitress was HORRIBLE. As a former waiter I am usually lenient on colleagues. But she totally ignored us. By the time she acknowledged us, the salads were gone. It put a damper on our 30th anniversary

    Meh

Not very scenic. A lot of industrial views. Took forever to get the bottle of wine we ordered. Prime rib was a pot roast. Meh.

    Been there, done that!

It was OK! The food was mediocre; the band was good, but took many breaks.

    Enjoyed the cruise

Food was good, but not the true southern food experience I had hoped for (jambalaya, gumbo, etc). The jazz music was really good. The scenery was not a reason for taking the cruise since it is mostly an industrial area. But I enjoyed the experience.
