    Witnessing History

The National WWII Museum was the highlight of the attractions we visited while in New Orleans. There is so much history available to watch, read about, and observe at this museum. We spent hours there and didn't even get to see everything. Loved it!

By far the best wwII museum ever

Absolutely the very best wwII museum I have ever been to. This is a must see. Wish we lived closer so we could spend more time there. This was the highlight of our trip.

Great experience. I took an old friend from Houston.

Facility has expanded since I was there in the mid 2000s. Parking garage had easy access. I had reservations so that line was short. Guides were helpful. I suppose I could have had better information, prior to the visit, about the restaurants and theater shows, times, prices and dates which were available during the week. Some were sold out that day. The museum exhibits and videos were great. The video with my friend Walter Imahara, about the Japanese internment camps, was presented very well. Also enjoyed the D-day video, the Doolittle video and many others.
