Frequently Asked Questions

It is recommended to book at least 48 hours in advance. This is because a permit must be obtained from the South Walton Fire Department in order to have a bonfire on the beach. If booking without enough notice, there is a chance that a permit may not be able to be approved in time, and the requested day or location may already be booked.
Aside from booking in advance, the person booking must be at least 18 years of age. Have no fear, as children of all ages are allowed at the bonfire, as long as there is parental supervision, of course. Bonfires are not allowed in Rosemary Beach, but the Winston Lane access is a nearby public access, perfect for enjoying a beachside bonfire bonanza!
