Yes. You’ll receive a brief orientation from the staff before you leave. They’ll go over how to operate the pontoon, cover safety guidelines, and share basic navigation tips to Crab Island and through the Choctawhatchee Bay, so you feel comfortable heading out on your own. If you were born on or after January 1, 1988, you will also be required to complete a Florida boater safety course before leaving the dock. This test will further acquaint you with safely operating the vessel in addition to the crew's instructions.
