If you were born before January 1, 1988, and you have a valid driver's license, then you will not need a boating license for this pontoon rental. However, if you were born on or after January 1, 1988, then a boater’s test is required. TripShock will send you a link to take the online Florida Boater Safety Test in advance, which you can complete at your own pace with unlimited attempts. You may also complete it at the dock, but it is advised to arrive early to do so.
