Activities with limited availability or scheduled departure times are generally the most important to book in advance. These include pontoon boat rentals, private captained charters, dolphin cruises, fishing charters, snorkeling trips, sailing cruises, and other guided boat tours, especially during peak season, holidays, and weekends.
Many other activities, including beach visits, waterfront dining, exploring Okaloosa Island Boardwalk, visiting Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park, or walking the Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier, can often be planned after you arrive. Leaving some flexibility in your itinerary also makes it easier to adjust plans based on weather or availability.
