While dolphins are the stars of the show, they are not the only wildlife people notice while exploring Orange Beach waters. Depending on the season and conditions, visitors often spot a variety of coastal birds throughout the trip. Pelicans are common and are fun to watch as they glide low over the water or dive for fish. Seagulls, herons, and other shorebirds are frequently seen as well. Occasionally, you may spot rays moving beneath the surface or schools of fish creating activity in the water. Something that is heard a lot from visitors is that they started the cruise completely focused on dolphins, but ended up enjoying everything else they saw along the way.
