Contrary to popular belief, there is rarely one perfect seat because dolphins have a habit of appearing wherever they want. Some visitors spend the entire boarding process trying to secure what they think is the go-to spot, only to find themselves moving around later as dolphins show up on different sides of the boat. A location with a clear view of the water and enough flexibility to look in multiple directions works best. Many experienced passengers like sitting where they can easily stand up and move if something interesting happens. Families with younger children often prefer spots where everyone can sit together and still have a good view. Dolphins can surface unexpectedly and usually appear when people least expect it.
