Dolphins are the wildlife most visitors hope to see, but they're far from the only animals found around St. Andrews Bay and Shell Island. Brown pelicans are common and are often seen diving for fish, while great blue herons, egrets, and ospreys frequent the shoreline and marshes. Depending on water conditions, you may also spot rays gliding through shallow water, schools of baitfish, or sea turtles. Every outing is different, but keeping an eye on the water and shoreline throughout your rental can lead to a variety of wildlife sightings.
