Searching for dolphins is part of the entire tour. Rather than heading to one location and waiting, the captain continuously looks for dolphin activity while cruising through the waterways around St. Andrews Bay and Shell Island. If dolphins are spotted, the captain may slow down or adjust the route to provide better viewing opportunities. Between sightings, the cruise continues through scenic coastal waters, so the experience combines sightseeing with the search for wildlife.
