Sometimes, but it isn't guaranteed. The bottlenose dolphins around Panama City Beach are wild animals, so every tour is different. On some trips, dolphins may swim alongside or cross directly in front of the boat for an extended period, while on others they may surface farther away before continuing on. Your captain will search areas where dolphins are commonly seen and may adjust the route when dolphins are spotted, but their behavior determines how close they come to the boat. Whether the encounter is up close or at a distance, guests have the opportunity to observe dolphins in their natural habitat while cruising the waters around St. Andrews Bay and Shell Island.
