To some extent, yes. An outside seat with a clear view of the water can make it easier to spot dolphins as they surface. However, there isn't one side of the boat that's consistently better because dolphins can appear anywhere around the vessel. The captain and crew will usually point out sightings, giving passengers time to look in the right direction. If the tour allows guests to move around, changing positions during the cruise can provide different viewing angles.
