Usually, yes. While the areas closest to popular tour drop-off locations and boat anchoring areas are often the busiest, Shell Island stretches for several miles, making it possible to find quieter sections by walking farther along the beach. Weekdays and morning visits also tend to be less crowded than summer weekends and afternoons.
