It depends on the day, but also on your interests once you get there. Swimming is usually the first thing most people jump into because the water is right there, and it is calm in a way that makes it easy to just walk in and float around. On some days, the visibility is good enough that people start looking for shells or spotting fish in the shallows, but shell collecting is more hit or miss depending on tides and what the water has been doing recently. You will find shells, but it is not a guaranteed treasure hunt every time. Relaxing is the most consistent experience across all visits. Once the initial excitement of arriving wears off, a lot of visitors end up sitting in the sand or just standing in the water talking and taking in the scenery. Families lean more toward swimming because kids stay active in the water longer, while adults often drift toward a mix of walking and relaxing.
