Once you are in the air, you will not experience much motion at all. It is smooth and steady. The part that can affect people with motion sensitivity is sitting on the boat before and after their flight. If the water is calm, many guests who normally get motion sickness do just fine. On rougher days with more wave action, the boat movement can be enough to bother some people. The flight itself rarely causes discomfort. If motion sickness has been a problem for you before, taking your preferred remedy before the trip can make a big difference. Morning trips are often a good choice because the water tends to be calmer than it is later in the day. Also, avoid showing up dehydrated or on an empty stomach. If you know you are extremely sensitive to boat movement, it is worth asking the operator about current water conditions before your departure.
