Most rental boats in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach are intended for use in protected inland waters such as Wolf Bay, Terry Cove, Bay La Launch, and the Intracoastal Waterway. Many rental companies do not allow their boats to travel through Perdido Pass into the open Gulf because of changing sea conditions and safety considerations. Always follow your rental company's approved operating area and route restrictions.
