Perdido Pass connects the back bays of Orange Beach with the Gulf of Mexico and is known for strong currents, heavy boat traffic, and changing conditions. Many rental boats are not permitted to travel through the pass, and operators should follow all navigation markers, no-wake requirements, and any restrictions provided by their rental company.
