Many experienced boaters and locals prefer mornings because winds are often lighter and the water can be smoother before afternoon sea breezes develop. Earlier tours may also encounter less recreational boat traffic, especially during peak summer months. Weather conditions change daily, so there are no guarantees. Afternoon tours can still offer excellent riding conditions, particularly on calmer days.
