Anything on the water feels different depending on the season, but sandbars and popular boat areas change the most because of crowd levels. In peak summer, you will often see more boats anchored in the same spots, more people swimming around, and a much more energetic atmosphere. It can feel fun and social, but less private and more active. In shoulder season, the same areas feel more open and relaxed, sometimes almost quiet, depending on the day. I have noticed that dolphin cruises also feel smoother in the off peak times because there is less boat traffic competing in the same waterways. Jet skis and rentals also feel more spacious when you are not navigating around as many other riders.
