Dolphin cruises, jet ski rentals, and pontoon trips all feel different because of how many boats are sharing the same water at the same time. Even if it is not a holiday weekend, summer afternoons feel more congested on the water compared to mornings or shoulder season days. Beach access points are another one where the difference is not obvious until you are trying to find a spot and realize how quickly parking and space fill up. Visitors were surprised that even weekday experiences in peak season feel more active than expected simply because tourism here stays steady. Shoulder months like early spring or late fall feel like a different place entirely. There is slower pacing and more breathing room across most activities.
