Orange Beach generally offers the widest selection of water-based activities thanks to its concentration of marinas and boating facilities. Many dolphin cruises, fishing charters, boat rentals, sailing trips, and watersports depart from Orange Beach, while Gulf Shores is known more for its public beaches and nearby attractions. Visitors staying in either community can easily access activities in both areas since they're only a short drive apart.
