Most families choose one main location for part of the day and let the kids move freely within that space instead of constantly switching locations. The beach works well for this because kids can switch between playing, swimming, resting, and eating without needing to travel anywhere. Entertainment districts also help because there are multiple small things to do in one place. Locals with kids usually avoid packing the day with too many things to do because every move takes time and energy, especially in the heat. What ends up working best is a slow structure where there is one main location and maybe 1 small add on later in the day. That way, kids are not constantly being told it is time to pack up and go somewhere else, and parents are not spending the whole day coordinating.
