Okaloosa Island has a relaxed beach atmosphere centered around wide stretches of white sand and emerald-green water. While popular areas near the fishing pier and Boardwalk can become busy during peak season, much of the island feels less crowded than heavily developed beach destinations. Many visitors appreciate being able to enjoy the beach while remaining close to restaurants like The Crab Trap and Rockin' Tacos, attractions like Wild Willy's, and waterfront activities.
