You want to be comfortable, but you also want to look nice because there is a good chance you will be taking a lot of pictures. Most companies don't really have a dress code other than the fact you must be covered up since this is not a snorkeling or swim trip. For most evenings, a casual beach outfit is perfect. Women usually wear a sundress, shorts with a nice top, or a lightweight cover up over a swimsuit if they have been at the beach. Men are typically comfortable in shorts and a nice shirt, polo or a lightweight button down shirt. Even if it has been hot all day, I always recommend bringing a light jacket or sweatshirt because it can feel surprisingly cool once the boat gets moving after the sun starts to set. Shoes are another thing people overlook. Flat sandals, boat shoes, or comfortable sneakers are much better than high heels since you will be walking around on a boat deck. I also suggest wearing sunglasses for the first part of the trip because the sun can be pretty bright before it gets low on the horizon.
