A lot of the dolphin cruises or harbor style tours stick to protected areas where the water is smoother, so the motion is not as intense as it can be farther offshore. That alone makes a big difference for people who get queasy easily. Timing also matters. Morning trips feel a little steadier because the water is often calmer before the wind picks up later in the day. I have seen people who normally do not do well on boats have a much easier time just switching to an earlier departure. Another thing is choosing a bigger boat instead of something small and fast. The larger boats handle movement in a slower way, which helps a lot.
