The safe rule along 30A is to give yourself more time than you think you need, especially in summer. Most boat tours want you there about 20 to 30 minutes early, so it comes down to how long it takes you to get from your rental to the marina or launch point. In peak season, that drive can look short on a map but stretch out because of traffic on 30A, stoplights, and slow beach town movement. If you are staying close by, I would plan to leave about 45 to 60 minutes before your check in time. That gives you a cushion for parking and walking from your car. If you are staying farther down 30A, like toward Rosemary Beach or the eastern end, I would lean closer to 60 to 90 minutes total buffer just to be safe.
