When it gets windy later in the day around 30A, you are not really stuck. You just want to switch gears into things that are a little more flexible. Boat tours are usually still fine because captains know how to work around wind and will stay in calmer bay areas instead of rougher open water. So even if it is breezy on the beach, the actual ride can still feel smooth depending on where they go. Anything anchored or close to shore is another good option. Pontoon rentals can still work if you stay in sheltered water, and once you anchor up, the wind is not as noticeable as it is sitting out in it on the beach. On land, grabbing food, walking through shaded areas in the small 30A towns, or just taking a slower evening instead of a big outdoor plan all feel better when it is windy.
