Santa Rosa Beach provides access to several different waterways beyond the Gulf of Mexico. Visitors paddleboard and kayak on Western Lake, Draper Lake, Oyster Lake, and other coastal dune lakes, explore Choctawhatchee Bay, or launch from nearby parks and boat ramps for fishing and boating. Having multiple types of waterways within the same destination gives visitors more options than a traditional beach vacation.
