There are definitely boat tours around Santa Rosa Beach that work well, even if someone in your group gets a little seasick. Most dolphin cruises around Santa Rosa Beach spend their time in Choctawhatchee Bay, which is usually much calmer than the open Gulf. If conditions offshore are rough, many captains will stay in the bay specifically to keep the ride more comfortable. I would also look for a larger sightseeing or dolphin cruise rather than a small, fast boat. Bigger boats move more gradually, which makes a difference if someone is prone to motion sickness. Morning departures are another good choice because the water is often calmer before the afternoon breeze picks up. If someone in your group is especially concerned, a smaller private bay cruise is a good option because the pace is relaxed and the captain can often adjust the route based on the conditions that day.
