If you want to spend as much time on the water as possible, I would skip the shorter sightseeing trips and look at pontoon rentals, private charters, or longer bay cruises instead. Those are the experiences where the water is the destination instead of something you pass through on the way to a stop. With a pontoon rental, you will have the most flexibility because you can cruise for a while, anchor somewhere quiet, swim if you want, then keep exploring at your own pace. If you would rather have someone else do the driving, a private charter gives you that same feeling without worrying about navigation. I have found that people looking for a true water day always enjoy these more than shorter tours because you have time to settle in and enjoy the scenery.
