For most boat tours around Miramar Beach or Sandestin, you are usually expected to arrive about 20 to 30 minutes early. If you are staying close by, like inside Sandestin or just across Highway 98, I would usually leave about 45 to 60 minutes before your check in time. That gives you a cushion for slow traffic, finding parking, and walking from the car without feeling rushed when you get there. If you are staying a little farther out along the beach road, I would plan more like 60 to 90 minutes total buffer. On paper, it might look like a quick drive, but once you factor in lights, pedestrians, and peak season traffic, it can stretch out even more. What I usually tell people is it is better to arrive a bit early and just hang out near the marina than to cut it close.
