If someone gets seasick easily, you are not out of luck at all. You just want to be selective about the type of boat trip you choose. The best option is a sightseeing tour or a dolphin cruise. The ride is slower, and there is less of that up and down motion that bothers people. I would also lean toward larger boats instead of smaller, faster ones. Bigger boats move across gradually, and that helps a lot if you're prone to motion sickness. Morning trips are usually the safest bet because the water is calmer earlier in the day. I have seen plenty of people who were nervous about getting sick end up being totally fine on these kinds of trips because they picked one of these boat rides.
