Traffic in Miramar Beach is usually manageable during much of the year but can become significantly heavier during spring break, summer, and holiday weekends. U.S. Highway 98 serves as the area's main east-west corridor, so travel times between Miramar Beach, Destin, and 30A often increase during the middle of the day and around dinner. Many visitors reduce time in traffic by grouping activities together or traveling earlier in the morning and later in the evening.
