It depends on where you are staying in Sandestin, but in general, there are areas you can walk to. If you are near Baytowne Wharf, that is the main walkable hub. You can walk to restaurants, bars, little shops, ice cream spots, and usually some kind of live music or evening activity. You can also usually walk to marina areas or boardwalk paths, where you will see boats coming in and out and get a water view without driving anywhere. Some people even just walk the resort paths in the evening because it is quiet. Keep in mind that beach hopping or going into other parts of Miramar Beach will still require a car or shuttle.
