Although they're closely connected, the two destinations feel very different. Downtown St. Petersburg has the energy of a waterfront city with museums, murals, coffee shops, breweries, and a lively restaurant scene. St. Pete Beach is slower paced, centered around the Gulf, waterfront resorts, beach bars, and sunset views. Many visitors enjoy combining both experiences during the same trip.
