There is no snorkel equipment provided on the Crab Island Runner, but you are welcome to bring your own gear. Local tourist shops and Walmart offer snorkel masks and fins for purchase. While Crab Island excursions can include snorkeling, the area isn't known for clear water or abundant marine life compared to the jetties. I have snorkeled at Crab Island myself and saw some fish, but keep your expectations realistic. If snorkeling is a priority, TripShock offers dedicated snorkel tours in Destin. Otherwise, enjoy the unique experience that Crab Island tours provide, even if snorkeling options are limited.
