Right now, Destin is still known for its fireworks, not drone shows. However, the city will do its first drone show for the 2026 Fourth of july celebration so expect to see more in the future. During the summer, you can usually catch weekly fireworks at HarborWalk Village on Thursday nights, and The Village of Baytowne Wharf typically has fireworks on Tuesday nights. Outside of the summer, fireworks are mostly reserved for special occasions like the Fourth of July, New Year's Eve, and other holiday celebrations. While drone light shows are becoming more popular around the country, they are not something you can count on seeing in Destin on a regular basis.
