Water shoes aren’t really necessary at Crab Island, as the sand is soft and there usually aren’t any hazards to worry about. However, if you’d like extra protection, you’re welcome to wear them. Water shoes are easy to find at local department stores like the super Walmart, Alvin’s Island, and other nearby retail shops.
