Dolphin tours usually start selling out earlier, especially in summer, and it really depends on the time of day and how flexible you are. For peak summer months like June through August, the most popular time slots, especially morning cruises and anything close to sunset, can start filling up about 3 to 7 days in advance on normal weeks. On busy weeks like holidays, spring break, or big summer weekends, those same popular departures can realistically sell out 1 to 2 weeks ahead, especially for smaller boats or more limited group tours. Midday tours and less popular time slots usually stay open longer, sometimes even with same day availability, but the trade off is they may not be the exact timing most people want once they arrive and start planning around weather and heat. So even if you can still find a dolphin tour last minute, you might not get your preferred morning or sunset window unless you book ahead.
