If it is just a light change, like wind picking up a bit or a little more chop developing, they usually do not stop the tour at all. Instead, they will shift the route into more protected water, like staying closer to St Andrews Bay or tucking behind Shell Island. If the conditions get more noticeably rough, like stronger wind or sudden weather movement, they may shorten the time spent in the open Gulf and spend more of the trip in sheltered areas. In that case, you are still cruising, still looking for dolphins, but the focus becomes comfort and safety rather than covering a wide area. Only in more serious weather situations, like storms or unsafe water conditions, would a tour come back early or get delayed, and even then, that is usually handled before departure or with clear communication from the captain.
