A small Bluetooth speaker is generally fine, but the scene out there is more on the quiet, relaxed side than a party beach. You will hear a mix depending on the day, but most groups tend to keep the music low or just skip it altogether because people spread out and the sound carries easily over the water. What usually happens is a few groups will play something softly at their setup, and as long as it is not blasting or spilling over into everyone else’s space, nobody really cares. The unwritten rule is more about being aware of your surroundings. If it is a busy weekend and you are near other families, keeping it low goes a long way because people are there for swimming, shelling, and just kind of enjoying the water sound. If you walk a bit farther down the shoreline and find a more open stretch, you will see that people naturally give each other space, and that is where music tends to feel less intrusive. Captains do not enforce anything unless it becomes disruptive, so it is about etiquette than strict rules.
