It can be, but only if your group wants it to be. Unlike a shared party cruise, a private charter carries only your group, so a family can have a quiet sightseeing day on the same type of trip that a bachelorette group uses for music, drinks, and several hours at Crab Island. The captain still controls the vessel and enforces safety rules regardless of the atmosphere onboard.
