The captain can intervene if a passenger's intoxication creates a safety problem and may shorten or end the trip if necessary. A private charter does not mean passengers can ignore safety rules, enter unsafe water, interfere with the captain, or behave dangerously. Groups planning to drink heavily should remember they're still on a moving vessel surrounded by water.
